Adriatica Ionica Race: the event will take place from 4th to 8th June!

The Adriatica Ionica Race warms up the engines: the stage race conceived and promoted by the World Champion Moreno Argentin will take place from 4th to 8th June 2022.

Five stages scheduled for the AIR new edition leading athletes and enthusiasts to discover the unique and fascinating territories that only the Italian peninsula can offer.

The race that in 2021 rewarded Lorenzo Fortunato’s (Eolo Kometa) talent, already offers several interesting suggestion for the forthcoming June: ”Since last summer, we have immediately started working to prepare the new edition of Adriatica Ionica Race. We are happy to announce that also in 2022 we will give life to a high-level edition both considering the technical contents and in terms of visibility and enhancement of the territories we are going to cross”, explained an excited and proud Moreno Argentin. “We have five spectacular stages in the pipeline touching four Italian regions. We will start on 4th June, just six days after the conclusion of the Giro d’Italia: this timing will offer the riders who benefit from a better physical condition a further seasonal aim and will grant the fans the opportunity of attending some evocative redresses”.

The fourth edition of the Adriatica Ionica Race, a short stage race born in 2018 and restarted last year after the forced stop due to the Covid-19 pandemic, will also be geared towards respecting the environment and will be focused on the enhancement of the naturalistic, landscape, historical and cultural aspects of the cities crossed by the race. An innovative and winning project that has accompanied and promoted the philosophy of travelling by bicycle. A way of living cycling that is able to win the hearts of an increasing number of people and tourists from all over the world.
