Trieste will be the witness of the start of the race at this edition from 15th to 17th June. This city received the finishing lines in the two past editions.
On Thursday 10th June at 10.30 from Gopcevich Palace’s room Bobi Bazlen in Trieste there will be the virtual introduction of the event. It will be broadcast on AIR Facebook official page.
Choosing Trieste as the city of the first stage of the AIR means a new beginning for the two wheels and for the territories crossed by the race, with the aim of retracing the routes of the Serenissima.
Among the guests, the president of Emilia Romagna Stefano Bonaccini has already confirmed his presence and he intends to share with enthusiasm the news of reaching his Region where the third (and last) stage will take place on Thursday 17th June.
“From Friuli Venezia Giulia to Emilia Romagna, l’AIR 2021 will be an adventure we cannot wait to experience together with the big names of the international cycling and their fans. The close attention paid to our race by the media, the Regions, the local Administrations and all the institutions involved, makes us confident, considering the return on the road, after a stop one year long, due to Covid-19 pandemic” – said Moreno Argentin, World Champion. “The long lockdown we experienced makes us more familiar with technology: for this reason we have decided to prepare a virtual introduction which will allow us to remove the distance between the guests and the audience”.
Save the date, then: on Thursday 10th June at 10.30 on Adriatica Ionica Race Facebook page it will be broadcast in live video – streaming the event introducing all the details of AIR 2021 edition.
