– Italy with ENIT at Adriatica Ionica Race: the professional race taking place from 15th to 17th June will bring on the Italian roads the biggest names of the two wheels world. The idea comes from the World Champion Moreno Argentin who has already led Enit and Italy on the Giro E 2021 podium, together with Max Lelli.
The National Tourism Agency, promoting Italy in the world, intends to push the territorial excellences of Friuli Venezia Giulia, Veneto and Emilia Romagna. Thanks to their Presidents Massimiliano Fedriga, Luca Zaia and Stefano Bonaccini, these three Regions will be crossed by professional cyclists, competing on the routes of Serenissima.
The green jersey, worn by the climber classification leader, will show the commitment of Enit. It is an epic ranking for the two wheels: this year’s edition will also include a legendary peak as Cima Grappa.
Visit Italy Web Radio will be the official Radio of the event: it is Enit’s institutional radio, with 28 locations worldwide and communicating in 13 languages. Born to promote and revamp Italian tourism, it offers live broadcasts that will tell in real time the crucial moments of the race and the beauty of the places crossed by the protagonists of the event.
“Enit has these kind of events close to its heart because they join the competitive aspect and the territory crossed” – underlined Giovanni Bastianelli, Enit’s Executive Director. “The idea, submitted by Moreno Argentin, convinced us immediately for its original and innovative format, paying attention to the enhancement of the architectural, cultural and naturalistic excellences found along the way”.
“Having Enit close will allow us to complete our project of development and enhancement of the beauties that have always characterized our race track” – added Moreno Argentin, number one of Adriatica Ionica Race. “I have had the chance of pedalling with ENIT Team in the recent Giro E and I have established a beautiful friendship that will allow us to add a very important piece in our experience”.
Stay tuned: on Thursday 10th June at 10.30 there will be the Adriatica Ionica Race introduction, live video – streaming on the official Facebook page of the event.
